Honey & Cinnamon Grilled Peaches

I am a sucker for fruit!  And for me, grilled fruit is something that really puts the icing on top of the cake.  I mean look at these peaches all drizzled in honey & cinnamon with a little caramelization from the grill.  Soft, tender & sweet!  You could eat these peaches plain, but the vanilla bean ice cream on the side is my favorite way to eat this simple summer dessert.  I know there are some "warm fruit" haters out there, but I don't understand their dislike.  Maybe you haters should give these a try; they might change your mind!  And for all you grilled fruit lovers: ENJOY!

Honey & Cinnamon Grilled Peaches
Recipe from: Amber (Dessert Now, Dinner Later!)
  • Peaches (just ripe)
  • Honey
  • Cinnamon
  • Vanilla Bean Ice Cream
  1. Cut peaches in half & remove pit.  Drizzle & smear honey on the inside of the peach.  Sprinkle with a dash of cinnamon.
  2. Preheat grill.  Make sure grates are hot for that initial sear.  Place peaches inside down onto the grill.  Turn heat down to low.  Cook for 6-8 minutes or until grill marks appear & peach is soft.  Serve with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream.
